Hamlet Research Paper:

Read one critical essay written about Hamlet. These essays can come from the internet, a literary journal, the back of a copy of a novel (if included) or the introduction if long enough.
If you choose to use an essay from the internet, it must be from a reputable source, academic source. This excludes essays from Sparknotes, Echeats, Purple Monkey, Debbie's Book Report Grade 8, and the like. JSTOR is recommended.
You will then write a 2 page evaluation of the essay. Your evaluation should include a summary of the thesis argument you read (use quotations to refer to this) as well as your personal opinion (without using using "I" of course) on the validity of these points. Maintain a third person formal voice throughout the essay even though you are expressing your opinion.
Pay special attention to the style of language the authors use in their essays about Hamlet. This is your opportunity to experience the language of literary analysis.
Please use MLA format and include a Works Cited page.
***I will have you submit your paper through "Turn it in" to me by midnight the night before your final exam.
***This weekend begin looking for arguments you are interested in.
