Homework over Spring Break:
1. Finish Wuthering Heights and write down significant quotes that pertain to your argument.
***Purchase the following novels:
Portrait of an Artist as the Young Man by James Joyce
Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut

*If you have not yet purchased Things Fall Apart, then wait on that novel because I may have you all work in lit groups and read a variety of AP level books.

2. Take the 1987 AP Lit Exam and correct your test when finished (you'll find an answer key at the back of the booklet). I gave out the booklets in class yesterday; however, if you were absent, here it is: 1987 Multiple Choice Exam

3. Write an essay for the Poetry Prompt only on the 1987 test above. We will discuss this essay in class, and I will grade it as well out of 60 points. Time yourself and do not exceed 50 min on it. Obviously do not consult any outside sources--the idea is to keep this as authentic of an experience as possible.

Due when you return:

1. Novel finished! Ready to take final quiz
2. 1987 Poetry Prompt Essay
3. Multiple Choice section complete (I'll give you performance points for doing it)

Have a delightful break!
